STA Senior Manager

An exciting opportunity to join an expanding team in a pivotal role to deliver the future technology for our vehicles.

You will be leading a team of STA Managers to drive the highest quality and manufacturing capability in our supply base, to deliver robust PSW for a flawless launch. You will be responsible for maintaining excellence in the quality and delivery capability of existing current car suppliers into the global JLR assembly plants.  
-Ensure the robust deployment of APQP, PPAP, 8D problem solving tools, and QOS088.
-Manage productive relationships with internal stakeholder and supplier representatives to ensure all supplier manufacturing process related APQP/PPAP requirements are robustly delivered on time and to the right standard.
-Collaborate with key stakeholders to maximise Supplier Technical Assistance influence and ensure alignment with the cross-functional teams.
-Ensure a high level of service to the plant SPQ teams for timely containment and closure in the supply base of incoming part quality issues
 -Lead and develop the ongoing capability of all team members to ensure adequate knowledge, expertise and experience is achieved inline with the technological changes in the automotive environment. Challenge and optimise department processes and activities to maximise efficiency and effectiveness 

-Understand key projects risks related to supplier industrialisation, develop mitigating action plans to avoid any delays in PSW to vehicle programme timing

-Manage multiple projects with high complexity and multiple key stakeholders

-Effectively articulate and commuinicate key project risks and corrective action plans to senior business leaders

You are a modern leader with a proven track record of coaching and developing people, and a passion for managing people growth. 

Can demonstarte experience in managing complex projects, and effectively managing demanding stakeholders and relationships in high pressure situations. Have a clear communication style, able to explain and articulate complex issues in a simple and concise fashion to executive stakeholders. A strong background in manufacturing and engineering.
