Strategy Finance Manager

  • The role will be working closely with Corporate Strategy & Business Development Function, Product Strategy Function and Commercial workstreams to identify, validate and implement potential business opportunities in China, responsible for providing financial feasibility study and supporting to China Strategy Function in all strategic cases to ensure JLR makes the optimal business decisions.
  • This role will support Strategy Finance Senior Manager to demonstrate Strategy Finance capability through appropriate analysis/planning/evaluation to support executive decision making; taking an important role during the strategic projects implementation and deployment to ensure the actual delivery aligned with the original intention.

  1. Key Accountabilities岗位职责

  • With instruction from Strategy Finance Senior Manager, deliver with robust financial models for all kinds of strategic / innovational business initiatives – researching & analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, modelling scenarios, challenging assumptions, highlighting risks & opportunities, developing and communicating recommendations, and prepare deliverables in a neat and professional way for senior executives for decision making;
  • Participate in global assigned /market initiated strategic projects execution in China as the key Finance point of contact, covering technical areas of compliance, accounting, tax, treasury & budget controlling etc;
  • Acting as the Finance business partner to Corporate Strategy & Business Development Function and Executive offices – e.g. provide data insights, ad-hoc analysis and on-going implementation support to the related strategy function or business functions from a Finance perspective;
  • Provide sensitivity analysis and convert key assumptions to KPIs to guide implementation teams to the desired results – support project implementation by generating and explaining various KPI’s for measuring financial performance to both finance and non-finance personnel;
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional or cross region stakeholders to support in the implementation of above proposals while achieve optimised arrangements and ensure the actual delivery aligned with the original intention;
  • Appropriate documentations per SoX and control environment as required

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor or above degree, while major in finance, business management or equivalent major is a plus
  • Finance qualification is preferred

 

 

 

Experience

  • Around 8 years professional experience with strong foundation in Finance, demostrating career advancement and increasing responsibilities
  • Progressive experience in planning, modeling and business case analysis/evaluation/presenting
  • Relevant industry experience would be plus
  • International secondment or working experience would be plus

  • Strong analytical skills from finance perspective with overall business acumen
  • Professional Microsoft Office skills, expcially in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent written and oral English
